These rankings reflect my best assessment of likely legitimate runs based on available evidence, attempting to reflect the views of the community on rules and requirements.
Rules
- Vanilla Emerald only. Emulators are fine but mods of any kind are not allowed.
- Use of damage calculators, spreadsheets, and the Battle Factory Buddy are allowed.
- Speedup is allowed.
- Save State abuse is not allowed.
- Memory viewing or memory modification are not allowed.
- Entering cheats, gameshark codes or running scripts (even for cosmetic purposes) in the emulator are not allowed.
- RNG manipulation or reverse engineering the RNG state are not allowed.
Submit a Run
This leaderboard aims to promote fun competition and sharing of success. Verification will not be exhaustive but please be respectful of other competitors and my time — don't submit anything you think represents you competing on an uneven playing field. Ideally this leaderboard doesn't last forever and that something more rigorous and decentralised comes around. Until then - this exists.
